Dan Rena-Dozier

Tattoo Artist

I began tattooing in 2003, but I’ve been drawing painting and making art most of my life. I always knew I wanted to be an artist for a living, but that feat is easier said than done! The first time I picked up the tattoo machine something just clicked and I’ve never looked back.
I started at Primal Decor in 2005, and after rigorous training in sterility and preventing cross contamination, I was hard at work tattooing as much as humanly possible. I was hungry for knowledge and every tattoo I completed was a unique learning experience.
These days I keep a very busy schedule, tattooing 8-10 hours a day five days a week. I enjoy working in many different styles, from black and grey realism to traditional flash. I prefer to do custom work in an illustrative painterly style, and like working closely with my clients to create their perfect tattoo. I put my absolute best into any project I take on, no matter how large or small.
